Fall Travel Season Update

The start of the fall season will be on 9-7-08 due to the fact that there are many teams that still need to get paperwork completed.  Please get all paperwork to Jack as soon as possible.

Please note that the fields formerly known as Outlet Road will now be referenced by their actual field name.  The fields are listed in order from the parking lot entrance.

7/16 - MANDATORY INTRAMURAL COACHES' MEETINGS  Click here for more information about the coaches meeting & upcoming courses.

7/16-8/1 Coaches will call players.

8/1 - Soccer practices may begin on or after this date. (Coach's  decision)

8/9 & 9/6 - Picture Days- team and individual photos- Location TBA

8/11 - Season begins! First games

TBA U6 Soccer Start program begins

8/16 - U9 and up- Wyoming Valley League play begins

9/13 & 9/14 - Luzerne County Soccer Festival U7 thru U10. Encourage your coach to sign up!

10/18 Luzerne County Cup tournament begins (U11 and up)

The Back Mountain Freedom girls travel team is holding open tryouts for U11G (born between 8-1-97 & 7-31-98) team for the Fall 2008 season.

When:  Wednesday June 11th
Time:  6:00 PM
Location:  Back Mountain Rec.

Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants should come in appropriate athletic attire with cleats, shin guards and plenty of water.

Back Mountain Blast Tryouts

Back Mountain Blast U11 girls team will be holding open tryouts for our Fall and Spring U12 girls team on June 5th, 6PM at Outlet Road Field.  We need to fill 6 roster spots.

Referee Class 

A training class for referees will be held May 9, 10, & 11, the class cost is $70 per person.  Space is limited so please contact Paul Jesse ASAP.

The class will be at the Meadows Nursing Center Dallas. you must be 14 years old at the date of the class. and it will be a grade 8 class.
