BMYSA Travel Program U9 - U19 - Zone 3
Mission Statement
The purpose of the Back Mountain Travel Program is to give interested players the opportunity to play competitive soccer on a permanent team and learn the game of soccer in a fun and challenging environment.
Zone 3 of the BMYSA Player Development Pathway and the Pinnacle of the BMYSA player. The Back Mountain Travel Program is for boys and girls who want a more rigorous training and game schedule than recreational soccer. The Travel program is designed to provide an attractive soccer environment that nurtures a higher level of competition. Interested players have the opportunity to learn and develop their skills while competing in higher level travel leagues and tournaments. Back Mountain Travel teams currently compete in the following leagues: the Lehigh Valley League, PAGS, the Rock League, the North Central Penn League and EDP. League play qualifies a team for State Cup participation. Most teams typically play and compete in around 15-20 games per season. Tournament, Showcase, and/or League play fill out the team’s schedule. We currently provide our teams with the opportunity to train with college/professional level coaches.
Players from all geographical areas are welcome. Coaches will invite players to an open practice with their team. No commitment is required to attend an open practice. If there is a mutual interest, players may be offered a place on a team roster or an opportunity to continue training with the team full time.
